We are hiring an EdTech Software Developer. As the software developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing UI components for JavaScript-based web applications and mobile applications with the use of open-source library infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build solutions that can adhere to a larger audience, increasing scalability
- Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support UI concepts
- Develop responsive web-based UI
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Integrate designs and wireframes within the application code
- Review of applications needs and interfacing elements
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Documentation for changes in application and further updates
REQUIREMENTS
- Key tools: Django, React, PHP, Laravel
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Experience in CSS, HTML, and wire framing tools (such as figma)
- In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework
- Hands on experience with SQL schema design and REST API design
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good project management skills
- Understanding code versioning tools
