ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Social media, Digital and SEO analyst that will work on all DSN’s projects and products in the following capacity
Search Engine Optimisation for Data Scientists Network and all its products and projects.
Social Media Management for Data Scientists Network and all its products and projects
Digital marketing management
Track and report all DSN (Data Scientists Network) products and projects.
Develop and manage all digital marketing campaigns.
Utilise a range of techniques including paid search, PPC, CPA, ASO and social media, SEO and others
Evaluate customer research and competitor data.
Ensure data-driven mindset and approach.
Perform analysis on company mentions across social media channels and actively monitor competitor activities
Implement and analyse performance metrics
Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used
Have access to the digital dashboard of several different accounts
Monitor key online marketing metrics to track the success
Identify trends and insights to optimise spend and performance based on the insights
Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
Instrument conversion funnel optimisation
Search Engine Optimization
Develop tactics and implement overall SEO strategy regarding technical and content SEO roadmap across all DSN’s products.
SEO (search engine optimisation) and generation of inbound/outbound traffic
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimisation
Maintain a keyword bank
Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
Research and analyse competitor advertising links
Develop and implement link building strategy
Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
To communicate and coordinate successfully, all concepts and guidelines to the development teams
Optimising copy and landing pages for search engine optimisation
Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
Recommend best practice changes to website structure, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations.
Work with the Business & Growth team to ensure broader marketing campaigns are coordinated, and content and SEO dependencies are met.
Keep up to date with SEO best practices and search trends.
Responsible for translating GTM strategy information into actionable content and SEO delivery in line with DSNs overall goals.
Lead the development, adoption, and stewardship of social media across DSN products and company digital assets
Social media content and page management
Manage the social metrics to provide insights for improvement
Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly and monitor customer reviews
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Perform research on benchmark trends and audience preferences
Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals and overall strategy
Publish and measure the growth of DSN weekly newsletters
Identify new creative mediums and channels
Research trending topics and leverage on positive brand trends
Appropriate tracking and detailed reporting
Measure and analyse awareness, acquisition, engagement, growth, retention metrics.
Create a regular pre-monthly publishing schedule to promote content through social advertising.
Execute tests, collect, analyse data and results, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.

SEO content writing and deployment
Prepare detailed weekly reports for social media channels
About 3-4 years of experience.
Possesses knowledge and experience in social media, SEO and digital marketing
Experience working on Search engine optimisation
Experience writing for a web-based audience and an excellent understanding of search engine optimisation best practices and how they apply to content marketing.
A strong background in web analytics such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants
Effective communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
Familiarity with growth and optimisation strategies
Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
In-depth knowledge with website analytics tools
Experience in creating successful and approved Wikipedia pages and ability to show evidence
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Extreme attention to detail
The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
Flexibility to evolve strategies quickly & effectively
Experience in WordPress and Blogger (preferred)
