I completed a Ph.D. in Legal Informatics from the University of Bologna and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg. My research focuses on the application of Machine/Deep Learning to Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks, e.g., Knowledge Representation, Information Retrieval/Extraction, Text Mining, and Question Answering.

Lately, I have developed an interest in Computer Vision tasks. Amongst others, I would love to work on human-centric and industry-driven applications of Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing, especially in the Fintech and RegTech, e.g., Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDC), Credit Worthiness, Algorithmic Trading, Virtual Assistant, Regulatory Compliance, Authentication, Risk Management, Fraud Detection and Identity Management, Blockchain, and Smart Contract applications.
