Phil Ogun conducts applied research in flexible manufacturing automation and informatics, creating solutions that are at the forefront of Industry 4.0. He is also a talented software and data engineer.

Phil has experience in collaborative projects in the UK and Europe. He is currently engaged in a number of European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation projects such as:
-Open Dynamic Manufacturing Operating System for Smart Plug-and-Produce Automation Components (openMOS)
-Production harmonizEd Reconfiguration of Flexible Robots and Machinery (PERFoRM)
-Health Monitoring and Life-Long Capability Management for Self-Sustaining Manufacturing Systems (SelSus)

Phil is a Chartered Engineer (UK) and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)
